Performer's Edition is currently hiring a part-time Sales Manager on a flexible work schedule. This position will be responsible for managing relationships with insututional customers, including performing ensembles, retailers, and colleges/universities. The selected individual will consult with customers on available repertoire, making recommendations of new works that may be of interest, and promoting Performer's Edition's products and services. This is a sales position and includes both base and commission based compensation, as well as sales quotas as part of performance expectations.

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience as a performing musician as well as experience in either business to business or retail sales. As our customers exist worldwide, communications with customers may need to occur outside of traditional working hours. An ideal candidate would be fluent in a foreign language common to many of our international customer (primarily French and German), though a foreign language is not required for the position.

Responsibilities:

Maintain positive relationships with assigned customer base
  Consult with assigned customers to recommend Performer's Edition products and services
  Proactively engage new customers with Performer's Edition's products
  Provide timely communications to customers on orders 


Requirements:

Experience as a performer in a musical ensemble
  Extensive knowledge of classical repertoire for instrumental ensembles or choral ensembles
  Outside sales experience in a business to business environment (desired)
  Inside sales experience in a retail environment (desired)
Works without supervision 
  Strong verbal and written personal communications
