Albrecht: Elegie

Albrecht, most known as a cellist, was a student of Davydov and wrote a frequently used method book for cello. In addition, he wrote a number of short works for cello. This work starts off with a slow march like lament, before building into a grand central section that climbs into the upper registers of the cello.
