Buelow: Prayer of Thanksgiving

The melody by Eduard Kremser known as Prayer of Thanksgiving is well known to many church-goers, though many simply refer to the song by its opening line - We Gather Together. William Buelow used his masterful vocal writing skills to create a beautiful setting of this melody and text, in the English translation by Theodore Baker, for choir with two vocal soloists. After a short opening, the work moves into a beautiful a cappella opening as it builds into more and more complex harmonies.
